John Freiberger III added a lot to the ceremony..... by spending time with John at this dedication, I gained a closer relationship with one of our 48th Assault Helicopter Company's finest members. John is a super guy!!!

Gary Moorman came all the way from Florida.   Gary and Bobby Schulze flew together in the 48th Assault Helicopter Company in Vietnam.  There, Gary proved he was a great crew chief in combat.  At this ceremony, he proved to be a true and faithful friend of his fallen comrade.

This was the 10th Aviation Brigade Memorialization Cake ..... It remained unmolested in the dining facility ..... I never saw anyone try to cut it, or even ask to eat any of it ..... I think everyone was afraid to ask.

This is a view of the flight line from the Crow Building.

There were four new buildings dedicated that day, so everyone traveled from ceremony to ceremony on these buses.
